Where are you on your MAGIC journey?

“Dating before you’re emotionally ready is like driving with foggy windows—you might reach a destination, but it probably won’t be where you intended to go.”

— G. Paul Janke — Clarity before connection

Every relationship journey is different.

Frequently Asked questions

Common Questions About MAGIC Framework

How long does it take to work through the MAGIC Framework?

Most community members spend about 1-2 weeks on each component (“M” – Meaningful Preparation, “A” – Authentic Connection, etc.), completing the whole framework in a few weeks. Remember, this is a journey, not a race. Planning for your “Last, First Date” takes time, and allowing God’s timing to guide your progress often leads to the most wonderful outcomes.

The MAGIC framework is designed to meet you where you are today;  each component builds on the previous one.   We’ve included a Quick Start guide to point you in the right direction.

No. While many in our community are seeking marriage, the principles apply equally to those looking for companionship without necessarily remarrying. The framework helps you discover God’s plan for your relationships in this season.

Secular dating advice often focuses primarily on techniques and strategies without addressing the spiritual dimension of relationships. The MAGIC Framework puts God at the center of every decision and views dating as part of your faith journey, not separate from it.

Absolutely. I was single for 13 years before dating again.  God’s timeline isn’t the world’s timeline, and His plans for you remain perfect regardless of your age or season of life.

While you can certainly work through the MAGIC Framework independently, many find additional benefit from sharing the journey with others.

This is a valuable insight! The “M” – Meaningful Preparation component often helps people realize they need more time for healing or growth before pursuing a relationship. Honor this discovery as God’s protection and guidance, not as failure.
